The Spring Creek House and grounds is home to the original Roopsburg Brewery — the first of its kind In Centre County. Dating back to the early 1800’s The Roopsburg Brewery appears to have been in operation from 1824—1902. The home that you will be sharing with us was completed in 1860 and served as the residence of the Master Brewer. The architecture of the Roopsburg House (as the house was known during this time) is an early form of the rival styles of mid and late nineteenth century, which embodies features of the Second Empire and the Italianate.
